The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers funding support to children with disabilities, enabling them to access services aimed at enhancing their involvement in daily activities and achieving their objectives. For additional details, please refer to the NDIS website.

Children who have ongoing and complex needs may get up to five Medicare-funded sessions under the Chronic Disease Management Plan (previously called the Enhanced Primary Care EPC Program). Check with your General Practitioner if you qualify for this.

You may be able to claim a rebate from your health fund provider for your Occupational Therapy sessions, depending on your health fund level of cover. We recommend that you contact your Private Health Insurer to find out your level of cover.
